Hypocrites make a U Turn!

Hola people, I'm so sorry that it takes me longer to post more of my own blog as now I'm more active in my http://ss675dj.blogspot.com/. Well due to working here and there and before sleep I do my bloggings, I can only write ss675dj. but thanks be to God, He gave me extra energy today to actually write this new blog (actually not new as He wanted me to write it from one month ago or something).

God wanted to me to "Dis" People who claims that they are a Believer or Christian such of those people are:

  1. They claim that they believe in Jesus Christ as their only God but still believe in other Gods
  2. They were close before but now they are away and turned their back on Christ
  3. They only appear to be active and close; yet they are dead inside
  4. They are around, they speak of God, They testify, They invite people YET they are immature
  5. They serve but they have their own agenda
  6. They perform the unnecessary at the inappropriate time
  7. They Talk They Testify but They Don't perform
When I performed my Disciple Journey today, God gave me  Matthew 6:1-24 and I'll talk more based on the verses.

Matthew 6:1-24

Giving to the Needy

1 "Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.
2 "So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.
3 But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,
4 so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

This is for the people with their own Agenda, They want to be famous and popular that they either give the most, they are living a good and right life. But hey, God knows that you have an Agenda of your own and He is not happy for it.

Prayer

5 "And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.

6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.
8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
9 "This, then, is how you should pray:
"'Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
10 your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.'
14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

This goes for people who appear to be active and close but dead on the inside and for the unnecessary performance on an inappropriate time. Our God is an  intimate God. He wanted that when we pray, we pray personally, we pray intimately like how we interact with our "special someone". He doesn't need you to pray in front of others just to show your self off in-front of others. He also doesn't want you to pray inappropriately. Pray professionally concise and straight to the point.

I went to a session with Rev. Peter Kumar, He said that on his trip to Indonesia, he was invited for coffee with a person. This person is a religious person, he prays all the time and pray with "Tongues". Even for the coffee, he would pray for 10 minutes and then have a sip. On the other hand, Rev. Peter Kumar told us on that session that he liked his coffee Hot not Cold. Use this illustration to know what is necessary to be prayed for and which one is not.

As the verse above,  perform that prayer is enough.

Fasting

16 "When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show others they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.

17 But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face,

18 so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

This is appropriate for people in these categories - They Talk They Testify but They Don't perform and They are around, they speak of God, They testify, They invite people YET they are immature. These people are like illustrated above about fasting. They make a face when they fast to show that they are fasting. Some people do the same thing.

Some people let other people know that God have done this to them, yada yada yada but they themselves don't perform what they tell others. They themselves are not mature yet in Christ but they push others to believe in Christ. Can people follow you? Remember this we are a reflection of God. People will see our God from our actions!

Treasures in Heaven

19 "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.
20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.

21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
22 "The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light.
23 But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!
24 "No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

These verse are appropriate for -They were close before but now they are away and turned their back on Christ. People who were close to God, tend to stray away themselves and blame other things but they never review themselves that evil have manipulated them. They went away as for situation, circumstances, and conditions fault. Yet I say it is we who are manipulated think it like that! I have before unnoticeable actually serve Money instead of God. Now I'm back on my track.

This I want to tell you all, If you belong within these categories, please do review yourself and make a U Turn straight away. No excuses, No reasoning, No Arguments anymore because God is Pointing at you now!

God Bless,
