Seems like a Dissing on people related with Christianity and Churches.
Seriously I don't know why but it seems like when I prayed, I asked God, Should my Blogs are made up of Critiques, may His Words be written by My Hands. So any way, It is actually written a lot on the passage already. It should be self-explanatory anyway.
But yeah, as per the verse,
1 Timothy 3:
(2) Now a bishop (superintendent, overseer) must give no grounds for accusation but must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, circumspect and temperate and self-controlled; [he must be] sensible and well behaved and dignified and lead an orderly (disciplined) life; [he must be] hospitable [showing love for and being a friend to the believers, especially strangers or foreigners, and be] a capable and qualified teacher,
(3) Not given to wine, not combative but gentle and considerate, not quarrelsome but forbearing and peaceable, and not a lover of money [insatiable for wealth and ready to obtain it by questionable means].
(4) He must rule his own household well, keeping his children under control, with true dignity, commanding their respect in every way and keeping them respectful.
(5) For if a man does not know how to rule his own household, how is he to take care of the church of God?
(6) He must not be a new convert, or he may [develop a beclouded and stupid state of mind] as the result of pride [be blinded by conceit, and] fall into the condemnation that the devil [once] did.
(7) Furthermore, he must have a good reputation and be well thought of by those outside [the church], lest he become involved in slander and incur reproach and fall into the devil's trap.
(9) They must possess the mystic secret of the faith [Christian truth as hidden from ungodly men] with a clear conscience.
The rest is your exercise to read the BIBLE!
Well it actually make a lot of sense and it doesn't require much IQ or Common Sense to understand it.
They are the people "We" look up to; We=Christians and even "WE" are the people looked up as "Christians" by the "Non-Believers".
Let's think it like a saying --- "Apple doesn't Fall far away from it's Tree!" From here, The tree is the Reverend, Priest, The magistrates, The Organizations, etc. The Apple are us.
We declare to others, Hey we are a Christian, Christians yada yada yada (all the good stuffs) Yet we don't reflect that. How many of us live according to the Bible? 100% nah to extreme, 60% of what the Bible say? Do we do that? Me to be Honest maybe 20% but trying to increase it.
It is HARD! It is HARD to live like Jesus! Then how about those people running the Christian organizations?
Here is my experience, I've seen a reverend, quite famous in Indonesia, looked so Humble in Indonesia, but yet when I saw him overseas, wah Bling-Bling on all of his 10 fingers. (I do Hope that it isn't the money from Church-works and etc)
Then I have seen also, Church and its organization members who actually count the offerings and actually talk about it. Offering is free in Nature and even God say it from the Old Testament, Shall some one is unable to give a XXX Offering, they may offer xxx Offering (I think it is somewhere within Exodus or Leviticus)
I have also seen where hey a Godly, Looked upon Reverend whose Family are disoriented. Caring upon other people more than his own family?
I have heard as well of a church where "If you Attend", there will be a doorprize with huge prizes to bring Home (Credibility 20%)
Yada Yada Yada....
Well then Let me ask you, is being involved equals to a MASK for other people to see?
Do You Have two different IDENTITY?
DO you actually have two different PERSONALITY?
Do You lead two Lives?
Who are you? Be true to yourself!
How can people (Non-Believers) will believe on Jesus if yet, we are not reflecting Him!

God gave us Wisdom! Wisdom to ACT, Wisdom to CHOOSE!
I'm not saying it is easy to resist Temptation. But hey, Shouldn't we start somewhere or sometime?
A Message from God, LEADERS are Trees, Reflection of a Leader will be reflected upon the Followers.
ORGANIZATIONS are Trees as well and the same rule apply.
Then also there is one thing I want to critique as well. I found this RIDICULOUSLY UPSETTING!
What is CHURCH? Is it a place to Pray? Is it God's House? Is it a Portrait of The HEAVENLY FATHER's Showcase or is it YOUR SHOWCASE? What is it?
I find it actually irritating... I mean, Hey everyone wants to see the most Beautiful, Grand, Huge, Yada Yada Yada in Everything.
I just want to remind all of you, Please do think it deeply. Where were JESUS Born?
Is it in a Huge and Grand Temple? Is it in a Beautiful Garden? Is it in one of the World's Wonder?
NO! He was born in a Stable. Even after He was born, He had to flee to Egypt. Think this deeply, Basically speaking, He was living through tough times.
and Yet now we build a Huge, Grand Building and call it as a CHURCH!
Can't we have like a space to actually hold the mass, ceremony, yada yada yada and allocate the resources somewhere else?
My concern is, I have seen that people showing this projections like Millions of $$$ for building a CHURCH! JEEZ.... Mate, Does God want that? Why don't we make it simple, allocate that millions to actually reach others?
Have we thought the effects in this Crazy World? Do you know that "Maybe" Evil is motivating you to do that to create more separation between the Non- Believers with Jesus?
Think how many people are starving out there? Think how many people doesn't have a Roof on top of their head? How many people can't study because of their POVERTY!
Yet after building it, you will ask from us again, Give, Donate, yada yada yada for these people.
Seriously does God want it? or This World is PUSHING you to do it?
Here is my Recommendation:
Build a building, huge one.
One section for free school ---- Provide Education for believers and non-believers (in poverty)
One section for place to stay --- Provide a place to sleep for believers and non-believers (in Poverty)
We shall service them so they may see that Jesus's reflections are upon us!
What do I see now though, Corruption, Show offs --- This make me sick! As it is not God's way but the Devil's way!
