Blessed Enough

Been Learning about WEALTH for this past few days, I encounter with articles about Richness and Success and God spoke to me in my dream today. Goosebumps but it felt so real.

We are already Blessed Enough beyond what we want. The problem is that we are never satisfied. (sounds so repititive? )

We wonder sometimes how people get so rich? What do they do? What is wrong in us?

Yesterday I read about Jack Ma who is so rich now and what made him now?

“You are poor, because you have no ambition.

Ambition is living a life of great ideals; a magnificent goal in life that must be realised.

In this world, there are things that are deemed unfathomable, but there is nothing in this world that cannot be done. The depth of one’s ambition determines the potential of one’ future.” 

– Jack Ma

Ambition is good and it is worldly (not saying that we shouldn’t adhere to it; it is good because it comes from God as well though we decide the Depth of it (with a Godly Wisdom Limit))

1 Corinthians 9:24-27 ESV

Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it. Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. So I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one beating the air. But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.

Self – Control is needed as when we have ambitions not according with Godly Wisdom Limit, it is very easy for us to engulfed into sin. We see movies such as Al Pacino, Scarface, Young and Dangerous, etc where people have ambitions to be at the top, to be wealthy, to be all that they desire but yet the took it with no limitations and ended  being engulfed in Sin.

They do all things necessary to be at the top. Then we read stories (am gonna take stories from the Bible) such as Abraham, David, Joseph, etc who went just by self-controlling themselves not to wanting it all but resting it all to God. They were then given richness and wealthiness in their life.

Another worldly thing is our actions – Determination, what we gonna do to achieve what we have?

The Story of Juliet Wu Shihong – one of China’s first-generation professional managers, who gained success by working her way up the ranks from a cleaner, a nurse, a marketing executive, through self-education and learning on the job.

Every day, she was the first to arrive at work, and the last one to leave. She made every second count, spending her time learning the ropes.

What does God say about this? Be diligent!

• Proverbs 12:24 ESV   

The hand of the diligent will rule, while the slothful will be put to forced labor.

• Proverbs 6:6 ESV 

 Go to the ant, O sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise.

• Proverbs 14:23 ESV

In all toil there is profit, but mere talk tends only to poverty.

• Proverbs 12:27 ESV

Whoever is slothful will not roast his game, but the diligent man will get precious wealth.

• Proverbs 13:4 ESV  

The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, while the soul of the diligent is richly supplied.

• Proverbs 10:4 ESV

A slack hand causes poverty, but the hand of the diligent makes rich

Same principle as Juliet Wu Shihong; be diligent as she was, come to work ealier and stay back last. She earned her position from toiling hard.  Are you toiling or are u being lazy?

2 Thessalonians 3:10 ESV  

For even when we were with you, we would give you this command: If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat.

Ambition – Determination – Diligence – Work – Self Control – Wealth
All are good and perfect if we take them under Godly Wisdom Limit. Nothing wrong in any of it. But we shall add:

Proverbs 3:5-6 ESV

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

God designed us to be prosperous (Prosperity Gospel much?) Well yes, I believe in it and I witnessed many of such and even I myself is one of its products. God designed us to be successful – How so? As long as you follow His words in the book of Proverbs, u will be Successful.

Why would not God want us to be Prosperous anyway? Take God as a MLM organization; any MLM organization would always want their members to be Successful just to have on the cover of all magazines and in return spread their fame and many will then believe that joining that particular MLM is a positive thing.

Just like God (MLM follows God’s Principle – Not the other way around); if people (non believers) see believers to be successful then they will question why? How does these people do their stuffs? Won’t they believe in our God if we are successful that our God is just Magnificent?

A simple round way tour of what we shall have and what we have to do, now let’s get back to

We are already Blessed Enough beyond what we want. The problem is that we are never satisfied.

God has blessed us with richness believe it or not.(if not, then read below)

The problem is we have been engulfed with Sin in this Fallen World; We feel that it is never enough so we desire more and more. 

I drive a Toyota, I want a Lexus, 
I drive a Lexus, I want a BMW,
I drive a BMW, Benz is not a bad choice, 
Drive a Benz, hmmm Rolls Royce is kinda Sophisticated, and goes on. 

I have a LongChamp, wow LV is good, 
Have a LV, Hermes wouldn't hurt. (ladies please name it with which ever is higher on top of another) 

I live in a house, wow Gossip Girl lives in a Penthouse in NYC, wow look at the mansion Queen B is staying in France, etc. 

Never is enough in our life if we follow desires of the world. Hence we require Godly Wisdom Limit to be content with what we have. How? If it is so hard for us to determine it, then we can always lean on to God and allow Him to set that Limit in us. 

How again? Leaning to God. 
Let God be in control
Let God Manage you
Let God provide the Wisdom
We do our part and let God do the Rest.
